PRINCIPAL

Paul has had a wealth of experience in the conveyancing world, starting his career in Adelaide in 1978. He established himself as one of the most trusted conveyancers in South Australia, quickly building up a high reputation with real estate agents and clients alike. It wasn't until 1993 that conveyancing was recognised as a profession in NSW - until then, only solicitors were permitted to engage in property transactions. Seeing the opportunity, Paul decided to relocate his business to Sydney and became the very first licensed conveyancer in NSW. Paul opened his first office in Lane Cove, and over the last 17 years he has continued to build Paul Denny Conveyancing.

 

These days, Paul is best known for his slogan "When all you do is conveyancing, you get very good at it". Whether you love or hate his radio ads, the name Paul Denny has become synonymous with conveyancing. Paul is one of the most respected professionals in the conveyancing and property arena, with a depth of knowledge and level of experience that is second to none. He is frequently invited as a guest on 2UE to discuss the various issues that can come up when buying and selling property.

 

When Paul’s not conveyancing, he enjoys cycling, drinking fine wine, traveling the world and spending time with his wife and family.

Craig Radford

Focused, highly professional and backed by a career in conveyancing spanning 15 years, Craig Radford has accumulated an enormous amount of industry experience. Craig’s extensive experience in the property sector means that he’s dealt with a vast range of clients and managed hundreds of conveyancing processes.  As a result, he says that he “knows that clients need to feel their conveyancing is in safe hands and that it will be managed with great care.”  As well as qualifying as a Licensed Conveyancer over a decade ago, through constant seminars and ongoing training, Craig is able to keep up-to-date with various legislation changes, ensuring that he will always be at the forefront of industry skills and knowledge.

When Craig’s not conveyancing, he enjoys playing soccer, watching AFL and doing “whatever my three daughters tell me to do”.

Penny Fraser

Known for her organisational skills, diligence and attention to detail. Penny’s reputation for high standards within the industry is second to none. Penny joined Paul Denny Conveyancing two years ago, bringing over 20 years legal experience with her. She enjoyed a diverse career working at numerous top tier law firms in Australia, New Zealand and England, before deciding to specialise in conveyancing. She completed the Conveyancing Law and Practice at Macquarie University in 2008, topping her class in several subjects and receiving the Director’s Award for Commendable Performance. As a conveyancer, Penny is passionate about exceeding client expectations and says that the best part about her job is making the call to tell her clients “Congratulations, you can go and collect your keys!” once settlement has taken place.

When Penny’s not conveyancing, she enjoys reading, music and camping. She has an interest in Australian history and hopes to eventually one day complete the Arts Degree she began in New Zealand!

LICENSED CONVEYANCER

An astute conveyancer, David Winning joined Paul Denny Conveyancing in February 2008, and over the last three years has proved to be an invaluable member of the team. With a determination to deliver exceptional customer service and a genuine passion for conveyancing, David aims to take the stress out of buying and selling real estate for his clients... so much so, that his services are constantly being recommended by satisfied clients. David is truly passionate about his job, saying “I love being a part of my clients life, guiding them through the process of buying or selling. But I think the phone call at the end of settlement letting a purchaser know that they can collect the keys to their new home is what I love most about my job”.

When David’s not conveyancing, he can be spotted sailing around Sydney Harbour with a cold drink in his hand.

Svetlana Thorpe

With a career in the legal industry spanning over a decade, Svetlana Thorpe is often described as “keen to exceed expectations”. Svetlana realised early on that her passion was with conveyancing, so she completed an Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing in 2006 and graduated with distinction. She joined Paul Denny Conveyancing five years ago, and says she loves “dealing with clients, particularly first home buyers, assisting with the whole process and making it as smooth and stress-free as possible”. With a genuine understanding and empathy for her clients, Svetlana recognises that buying and selling are both stressful and life changing decisions. Friendly, approachable and incredibly hard working, Svetlana’s attention to detail and communication skills ensures that her clients’ transactions always proceed smoothly.

When Svetlana’s not conveyancing, she plays basketball and touch football, spends time with her kids and tries to schedule in an annual trip to Slovakia to visit the grandparents!

Lesley Mackay

Lesley heralds over a decade of conveyancing experience. Her commitment to excellence and friendly nature is evident and perfectly matched to Paul Denny Conveyancing’s high standards of professionalism and customer service. Lesley has been a valued member of the Paul Denny Conveyancing team for the last eight years, and in that time has helped hundreds of clients from exchange to settlement. She particularly enjoys assisting First Home Buyers with the purchase of their first house, loving the “enthusiasm and excitement that purchasing their first home brings”.

When Lesley’s not conveyancing, she loves playing squash and building up her library of classic and modern literature.

Carol Twycross

CONVEYANCING ASSISTANT 

After a career in fashion design, Carol decided to have a career change. She moved into law over a decade ago and had a variety of different legal roles before joining Paul Denny Conveyancing in 2010. To further her education, she recently completed an Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing at the Sydney Institute of Technology and is scheduled to become Licensed Conveyancer in December 2011. Understanding that selling or buying property can be demanding, Carol is focused on full communication with her clients, keeping them well informed and has a proactive approach to achieving a positive outcome for her clients.

 

When Carol’s not conveyancing, she enjoys spending time with her family, and keeping active with tai chi, jogging, walking and gardening.

Kerrie Anderson

After 26 years in the finance industry, Kerrie Anderson decided she wanted a career change… but wanted to find a job where her extensive financial experience would not be wasted. Conveyancing was the natural next step. As well as excelling as a conveyancer, Kerrie is particularly good at helping her clients make sense of their loan contracts and sorting through the often-daunting piles of paperwork. Kerrie loves her new profession and is committed to maintaining her reputation for high standards of customer service. Kerrie is currently studying at Macquarie University, and is due to become a Licensed Conveyancer in 2012.

 

When Kerrie’s not conveyancing, she enjoys spending time with her nine-year-old daughter, traveling and reading.

Alex Fletcher

Renowned for her enthusiasm, organisational and analytical skills, she enjoys helping her clients through the entire process of buying or selling.
